About Us

Tabacalera TCS International, aka Crown David, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Yaniv Levy and his wife, Suzanne, a Philadelphia native.

Yaniv arrived to the United States from Israel in 1994 with nothing and in a whirlwind of events, met and fell in love with his wife Suzanne and opened their cigar business.

We were originally known as Crown David Inc., but later changed became known as Cuban Stock Cigar Company, to reflect our namesake cigars.

Our first cigars were handmade in a small factory in the Dominican Republic, and as our company grew, we developed numerous more blends. By 1999, we had already produced the Classic, Reserve, Royal Selection, Triumph, Extra and Private Selection lines.

In 2000, we introduced the first 60 Ring Gauge cigar to the market: Chubbys. Following the success of the original Chubby, the line naturally...well...got chubbier. The Chubbys DMS, Chubbys Ultimate, Chubbys 4.5 and Chubbys Boss added dynamic new profiles to our Chubbys portfolio. The year 2000 was also when we developed our premium line of infused cigars, Delicioso. This momentum kicked our production into gear, and inpiration from all angles led to the developments of Exquisito Double Capa, Exquisito Limitado, Joya de Havana, Everyday Joe's, Crown Fuma, Smokin’ World and the 231.

Tabacalera TCS is known for quality, handcrafted cigars and our passion for perfection, which is what has driven us to develop blends that we proudly think rival the world's very best. Our philosophy since the beginning was to make cigars using the highest grades of tobacco. Our special fermentation techniques lends our cigars distinctive sohpistication, complexity, balance, and overall deliciousness.
